Teens 6th - 12th are invited to enjoy an Israeli latke recipe making together in small groups. lighting the menorah together and hearing about Israeli Hanukah and the differences and similarities of the traditions celebrating Hanukkah in Israel and in the united states.
All families in the Shaare Torah community with children 5 and under are invited to join us on the first night of Hanukkah for a special celebration to kick off the festival! Enjoy activity stations, latkes and sufganiyot (donuts). At 5:30pm, we will chant the Hanukkah blessings and light the electric menorah on the lawn.
