We are excited to announce our Purim Family Mitzvah Day on Sunday, March 5th from 9:00-12:00! All Kindergarten-12th grade families will come to celebrate the holiday of Purim by performing the traditional acts of Mitzvot (commandments/good deeds). Children and adults will sign up for a spot a one of more than 15 different locations around Montgomery County to help our community in some way. Youth & Education and Social Action committees are happy to collaborate on this wonderful event!

Examples of Volunteering Opportunities:

• Cooking for Homeless Shelter
• Local Park Clean Up
• Spending time with the residents at Makom, formally JFGH (yard cleaning and making Purim masks)
• Making sandwiches for the local homeless community
• Nature Center Trail Cleaning Project
• and much more!
