In anticipation of Tisha B’Av, we invite you to our shul for a special screening of “Legend of Destruction,” an Israeli animated historical drama directed by Gidi Dar and co-written with Shuli Rand. The film interprets Talmudic stories about the destruction of Jerusalem and the Second Temple.

An amazing movie, among the best movies I’ve ever seen, complex characters in a complex world. The hero of the film is not really a hero, maybe the villain. You see how a person enters an extreme side in the conflict and acts in the way he believes. Not everyone dares to create a story where the hero is the one who created the problem. Well done for the courage. In addition, the paintings of the film are artistic. There is no doubt that this is the best Israeli film released so far. Definitely equal to the best world level. “
