Kickoff and Installation Weekend
Friday, January 30th – Sunday, February 1st
 

We’re excited to embark on a year long celebration!

 

We are kicking off Shaare Torah’s 30th Anniversary Year with special, community-wide celebration and the official installation of Rabbi David Helfand as our new spiritual leader.  

 

Come celebrate with Shaare Torah in a weekend filled with memories, connection and community – and the energy that makes Shaare Torah so special!  

Friday, January 30th

Kabbalat Shabbat & Community Dinner at 4:00 PM

Lively Ruach-in-the-Round service with percussion, followed by a special 30th Anniversary Shabbat dinner, catered by David Chu. 

Saturday, January 31st

Shabbat Morning Services & 30th Anniversary Kiddush at 9:30 AM

Celebrate 30 years of community, prayer and togetherness – with a special Kiddush to mark this milestone.

Sunday, February 1st 

Family Installation and Celebration from 11:00am to 12:30pm

ECC, Nesiyah, and all families with school aged children are invited to officially welcome and celebrate Rabbi David as our new rabbi. 

Ceremonial Installation of Rabbi David Helfand from 3:00-5:00pm

Join us for a meaningful and joy-filled ceremony as we formally install Rabbi David B. Helfand as the spiritual leader of Shaare Torah. Festive reception will follow the ceremony.
