Philosophy

Our Religious School seeks to provide an education designed to inspire our students to lead their lives as identifying, ethical, committed Jews. Our purpose is to create a warm, yet challenging, learning environment to instill the skills and values that enable our students to understand their heritage and live the rich spiritual and ethical life that Judaism offers.

We believe that an integrated curriculum involving Torah, Hebrew, prayer, tzedakah, customs, values, history and holidays reinforced by strong family education will enable the student to understand the religious teachings and traditions embodied in his/her Jewish heritage, practice religious observances, and guide his/her life by the moral and ethical principles of the Jewish religion. We hope to challenge our students to discover their own authentic path to a relationship with God, Torah, Israel and the Jewish people by preparing our students to confront and respect Jewish tradition.
