Educational Goals

The educational priorities of our religious school include:

• Strengthening the student's ahavat yisrael – identification with the Jewish people – past and present, and strengthening their ties with the synagogue.
• Aiding the student in acquiring knowledge and understanding of the customs and traditions embodied in Judaism and encouraging religious observance at home and in the synagogue.
• Providing the student with the knowledge of the Hebrew language necessary for full participation in Jewish life.
• Teaching the moral and ethical ideals of our Jewish heritage and helping students develop a sense of social responsibility based on these principles.
• Maintaining high expectations for our students, while providing a nurturing environment.
• Providing continuing faculty education in order to help our faculty themselves continue to learn, both for their own sakes, and in order to provide the very best possible education to our students.
